An #Action Button is configured to let business users trigger automated deduplication with a single click. The Executable uses the Merge action with Apply Duplicate Matching enabled, applies configurable sorting to identify the principal record, and auto-fills missing fields with values from the merged records.

Use the Merge action to simplify deduplication with predefined rules—such as applying duplicate matching defined in Salesforce Duplicate Management, automatically selecting the principal record, and filling in missing fields.
